Mind Control Delete will be free to existing Superhot owners (and anyone who buys Superhot while MCD is in Early Access) but only when it launches in full.

In the full Mind Control Delete game you can expect (according to the Steam blurb): Superhot: Mind Control Delete was originally envisioned as free DLC when it was announced in 2017, but has grown over the years into its own thing: Four times larger than the original game. The full release is roughly a year away but a barebones build will be on Steam Early Access tomorrow, 7th December, and grow over time. Hopefully, this is something their relationship will display in the second season of the show.Superhot is getting a significant standalone expansion called Mind Control Delete, which will put a roguelike twist on the game. This is a rather large departure from the show, which seems to only have time to give the pair romantic or serious interactions, where in the game it is often witty banter. During this time, we see a playful dynamic between the two. They both work to find Ciri, and then have several quests together. There, Geralt and Yennefer work together far more often than we see in the show. For those who may not be familiar with The Witcher 3 – Complete Edition, there is easily over one hundred hours of gameplay across the main story and substantial additions through downloadable content.
In the games, there is far more evidence of the pair being a caring couple, particularly represented through a back and forth of witty comments. In both the books, the relationship between the two is more fleshed out in a number of ways.
As mentioned earlier, the show leaves questions unanswered, but this should not come as a surprise given how much material needed to be presented in each episode of season one.
